INCLUSION – Network for integration of migrants
in the federal state of Brandenburg

The network for integration serves to improve the basic conditions as well as the lasting social and professional integration of migrants in the federal state of Brandenburg.

This is mostly directed at:

- Jewish migrants
- Late repatriates and their family members
- Former GDR contract workers (Vietnamese, Mozambicans, Angolans)
- Elderly long-term unemployed (especially graduates)

After a three-month choice and orientation module, during which an individual education plan will be established, a qualification in different fields will follow:

- Foreign trade service
- Social care services
- E-commerce
- General qualification

The modular training occurs in accordance with the individual competitiveness. Depending on the achieved qualification level, a certificate can be obtained.

To support the participant, a „mentoring system“ will be constructed, within the framework of diversity management, which, in various ways,  helps the participants seek trainings on the job and employment.

At the same time, networks „from below“ will be established together with Jewish community in Brandenburg and the Vietnamese–German society. The networks serve to strenghten the different ethnic communities in the federal state of Brandenburg and to convey integration offers better and more effectively.

The federal state of Brandenburg and our European partner countries will strive for an exchange of experiences and for the development of common instruments of employment policy.

The project will be executed in the federal state of Brandenburg conducted by the BBAG e.V. in the following locations:

- Potsdam
- Brandenburg an der Havel
- Rathenow
- Oranienburg


For the coordination and the strenghening of the integration in the federal state of Brandenburg, a development partnership has been established, which consists of those  responsible for the employment and the social policy of the federal state of Brandenburg.
The objective of the development partnership is to enable the different groups of migrants an improved access to participating in the social life, through a sophisticated qualification project with an accompanying socio-cultural support.


Our transnational partnerships are:

- Illes D`Acolliment – Spain   and
- Create “Co-Operation For Racially Equal Access To Training And Employment” - United
   Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Preparation and orientation measures will be executed in order to prepare for the qualification in the project.

These measures serve to select suitable participants for an employment of a period of one year and qualification including practical training within a new field of profession.

Main points of the measure to prepare for the qualification are:

- Empowerment for motivation, for willingness and for the ability to adapt to the labour market
- German as second language
- Job itinerary
- PC–work (basics)
- Gendertraining
- Intercultural training
